LG Optimus S Rounds Out Sprint's New 3G Android Lineup

The LG Optimus S was the third and final Android to be announced by Sprint today. Aimed at a lower market than both the Samsung Transform and the Sanyo Zio, the phone has a 3.2 megapixel back facing camera, Android 2.2 preloaded, and Mobile Hotspot capability. The phone looks smaller and cheaper than the other two Android phones announced from Sprint today, but at only $49 with a new two-year contract, there aren't a lot of complaints with the phone with the feature set. Sprint Creates Mifi Hotspot at JFK

If your going to be at JFK International Airport sometime in the next year, your in for a treat of Sprint's mobile broadband. Sprint will have a wall with multiple Mifi mobile hotspots set up in Terminal 8 of the airport (the American Airlines terminal) to demonstrate how the device works and to let travelers connect to the hotspots with their Wifi devices. It should be easy to spot, being a thirteen foot curved wall (probably yellow and black) inside the secure area of the airport. You can check it out anytime until December 2010, so let us know what it's like if your traveling in the Terminal and get a chance to connect to one of the Mifi's. (Sprint)
